Many people find that upper-limb prostheses can be difficult to use.

At the University of Bath, we are working on developing a system to help you better control upper limb prostheses. To do this as well as possible, we want to understand your perspective on some aspects of prostheses use and get your opinion on proposed design features.

Whether you have used a prosthesis or not, we would appreciate it if you could complete a short survey. At the end of the survey, we will also ask if you would like to complete an optional follow-up interview and further involvement in prototype testing. You can take part in this study if you are an adult upper-limb amputee. Therefore, you may have key insights into what are the factors that upper-limb prostheses users value and are able to provide opinion on suggested improvements.

All of your information will remain anonymous. However, upon completion of this survey you will be invited to include your contact details to register your interest in further involvement in the research through an interview, if you want to.
